I am getting ready to install a SCQT4407 made by Norcold in my C30 and I was wondering if anyone else has done the same. It had an older Norcold unit in it (an SCQT 6406) and I was going to install the new one the same way. However the manufacturer suggests that the performance would be lessened if it were inserted with the long leg straight down and the short leg on top. This is the only way it will fit into the icebox. Has anyone else installed one in the same fashion? Or maybe suggest a different style.
