I guess I have been contributing to this forum for four or five years and just now I really would appreciate everyones help. Some time ago I thought about the chance to sail on the largest natural inland lake in Western Australia. It has been bone dry since the 80's but rain this year has almost filled this wonderful lake. But most importantly the community who farm and reside near this lake have suffered over the past years most recently last year with terrible bush fires. So now the lake has water in it and I believe that now is the opportunity to put this wonderful community back on the chart (map)for everything that it's deserves. To this end I came up with the idea to hold a yacht rally on the lake this coming weekend. So far we have yachts from far and wide but what I really need is exposure and promotion of this little town. The lake in fact was where Donald Campbell broke the world water speed record way back in 1964. So there you have it folks. Lake Dumbleyung in Western Australia. Tell your family, cousins, friends even the president about this weekend. If you would like more information just type Dumbleyung Shire into your search engine and up it will come! (or see the link below -- ed.)

Hi Mark, Sounds like a terrific idea. I hope the yacht race is a big success and that you break Bluebird's speed record! Gary Wyngarden S/V Wanderlust h37.5
