I want to set up 212 for easier single handling...

...and am looking for advice. Has anyone run lines to the cockpit? Centerboard controls? How about dousing sock for Spinnaker? Any other tidbits, advice and personal stories would be appreciated.While I'm feeling ambitious , I am also planning to install a mast head light (anyone done so on there 212?) and am still trying to figure out how to secure the companionway hatch and upgrade/change the tiller.Any feedback is welcome.

Step forward

Just step foward from the tiller and wrap the jib lines around the winch as you come about. Try not to have lines lying around in the cockpit, for they could trip you up. Wouldn't worry much about the mast light unless you'll be out at night. If so, dismast and fish the line through instead of going up the mast.Much safer. Happy Sailing.
