You know, there's an old saying in the boat brokerage business that says "The two happiest moments in a sailor's life are the day he buys a boat, and the day he sells it." I officially sold my '87 Hunter 23 '2 Sheets to the Wind' yesterday, and I'm here to tell ya, I have to disagree with the old saying- It was a hard trip to deliver her to her new owner! It's not going to be the last time I get to see it or sail it, though, as I sold it to a co-worker who wants me to help teach him how to sail it...) I'd just like to take a moment to say a big THANK YOU to everyone on these forums, as you have ALL helped me make informed decisions and saved me from making major mistakes while I was fixing her up. I've learned more from my experiences with the H23 and the knowledge base in these forums than I could EVER pick up in 10 years of sailing on my own. I'm looking forward to receiving more advice and guidance while I sail my H25, and making contributions where I can! See you on the water... --Jon Bastien H25 'Adagio' (P.S. - Dan, Thanks for offering to help sell the boat, but it looks like it's taken care of itself... ;o)

Farewell, "2 Sheets"

Jon, Welcome back to the ranks of one-boat owners. When my dad sold his O'Day 192, it was almost like the passing of an old friend. However, it did spur me into buying "Kittiwake". It's amazing how a new boat can comfort the soul. Keep the memories! Mark Kissel Kittiwake/98H240
