I recently purchased my 28.5. it has no boom and i don't have an example of the rig in our fleet. I am not sure how to proceed in order to obtain the correct boom. Does anyone out there have a spare they'd like to sell? Could someone provide a photo?

Try Rig-Rite in Warwick, R.I.

Most of the 28.5 were set-up with Kenyon mast and boom. Kenyon went belly-up but Rig-Rite can still supply a lot of the parts and spars. Check out their website. Good luck

Different booms

It depends on what year H28'5 you have. Mine is an '88 and had Z-Spar aluminum mast/boom. The Kenyons are painted white. If your's is unpainted, it is probably a Z-Spar.
