I need to build a temp rudder

Hi there, My name is Gabriel and I just bought an O'Day 25 and couldn't be happier! However, the rudder is not presently on the vessel, the fellow I bought her from is having one built but it wont be complete for a week or two.... here's the thing, my Father is in town for the week, he's the one that taught me to sail over 20 years ago and we need a temp rudder to get under way a few times before for he leaves. Got a ton of tools, would love to save a trip out to get dimensions. Can you help? Thanks.

I posted the major dimensions of my O'Day 25 rudder on the O'Day Owners Forum on Sept 11, 2009. Maybe that would be of help.

Beautiful job Gabriel! If anything ever happens to your other rudder you'll have a spare that you can put on her.
