I need to Bilge Hoses - which to buy and where?

Hi friends.
New owner of a 1980 Cat 27 and I have no idea how old the bilge hoses are. All I know is that the bilge was full of greasy dirty smelly water. The electric bilge hoses are clughed somewhere.
Bottom line, I need new hoses.
My local West Marine store has some for $6/foot and then I found Defender with Trident 120 bilge pump hose for $1.25...
Is West Marine a convenient but overpriced local store? Or is Defender selling cheap quality hoses?
Is Trident a reputable hose brand?

Don't use Trident 120, not recommended for below the waterline, you want Trident 144: Trident 144 Vac HD Bilge / Live Well Hose
Trident is an excellent brand.

And West is generally overpriced but convenient and you can touch something before you buy it. Defender has about the best prices and is a good company. I use both, depending on the situation. For hose, Defender is significantly cheaper.

West is consistently overpriced on most everything except electronics, the prices of which are closely controlled by the manufacturers.

Also check the SBO store. Always good to dance with the one that brought you.

I'd be searching for the cause of the oily water too. Hopefully from a sloppy PO and not an oil leak. Good luck with your Cat 27, great boat - I just sold my 85.
