I need a winch handle, V-222

I own an early 70's Venture 222. The 8" winch handle was approx 1.5" wide x 1/4" thick with a "c" notch in the end. It slid into a slot on the winch. As a pair of new winches (plus a handle!) will run $300 and the old winches work fine, I'd really like to find a new (old) handle.Any advice?
