My jib has succumbed to the elements and must be replaced. It is a UK 100% jib and I'm leaning to replacing it with another UK, however they are a bit pricey at $885. Anyone have advice for this new-to-me Hunter owner?

Maybe I asked wrong question...

I should have asked how the Doyle compares with the Ulmer Kolius regarding longevity and performance. Any experiences to share? ... Anyone?

Same fabric - same life

If you are buying dacron, I don't see an advantage to one loft or another in life. They are all using the same stuff. UK had about the same prices as Doyle on Lake Erie when we bought our sails. Is there a loft near you? I'd give a big advantage to a local loft with a real sailmaker to advise me. David Lady Lillie

Somerset Sails

I would try http://www.somersetsails.com/ . I had a150% and main sail made by them for my H28.5. They did an excellent job. Total for two including shipping was $1700.
