I just went out to my boat, after not using it for two weeks and noticed that I was smacked on the bow, right under the headstay. There appears to be a plastic cover piece, that overlaps the lop of the bow just in front of the toe rail. How do I get this plastic piece, and do they make this piece in stainless steel?

I know the piece

As far as I know, they are not replaceable parts. You can shape a new one out of fiberglass (not plastic) if you're handy with the stuff by laying it on a wooden jig made to match the size of the original and tint the gel coat black, or you could indeed have a machine shop make you a new one made out of stainless.
