I am sick of this weather in the NE.

I am really fed up with the recent weather here in the NE! It is putting a major delay in my Hull painting project.
I know that I should have moved south years ago.

Crappy day on Eastern LI. Raining, blowing and it's cold. Our sailing association is holding its Spring Fling tonight. Gonna be some cranky sailors there.

I am doing no better. I was launched last Monday, but it's raining and I am swamped with house projects. Still need to get one sail on and clean out the interior from winter storage. At least 3 full days of work before I'm ready for the season.
And as I write, the critters and slime are making a new home on the bottom of my stationary boat.

I agree. I went down to work on the mast but it rained hard, keeping me in the cabin. Plenty to do but I need to get the pre launch stuff done.
Will try again tomorrow.

Agree, Ken. Rains all the time, sun never shines, never any wind, and if I'm not mistaken that looks like a blizzard outside with frost on the pumpkin.

Me too! We have had rain every weekend for a month... all while I am waiting to paint my boat.

Yup, no better here in Southern Michigan, rain, thunderstorms, rain.... seems we only get nice weather during the week, when I am inside looking out at it. Got the medical issues resolved but the boat not is calling, wait yelling at me.

Been raining here a week. I got none today though, it went all around and passed me by.

So, I was able to get the Vega's last six engine mounting holes marked, drilled, and tapped. Tomorrow, in between showers, hopefully I'll lower the engine back onto the bearers, loosely bolt it down, loosely bolt up the propeller shaft and flexible connector, and maybe pack the new stuffing box.

It is too early for a drought. I had to start the sprinklers so that the plants my wife has me planting have to also get watered. Now the lawn is going to grow. Weekly lawn mowing. How does it go so wrong so quickly?

Launched last week after an awful cold start, was at the boat yesterday finishing the rigging with 23mph winds and driving rain!
I'm hoping to go sailing 23rd august if anyone's around!!!
