I am beginning to think I am disaster

Does anyone have any idea of where I can get one a port side anchor locker cover. Between all that has happened I guess someone stepped on it as it was already cracked and it broke off. It is about the last 6 inches. Can I just clamp it and glass it. I thought about putting a small piece of wood first and epoxying it in place then glass over top. It is either that or find a used door. It is for the infamous 87 23 Hunter.

Pics would help but I can't see why you shouldn't be able to glass it back together again. If there is room adding some plywood or aluminum backing will help to reinforce it.

Siskind, glass in a piece of plywood on the bottom side, then fill in the top with glass. Do the best you can and sail away. You can even sail without it as your anchor locker has a drain. Then start looking for a replacement. Spring is here, chill out, have fun and enjoy your boat

Listen to C Jones. While it might cost you $30 or $40 to buy some epoxy and a small patch of glass, this shouldn't be tough to patch up. The top may not look perfect when done, but who cares? Since the original has no backing, I suspect you could easily get away with just glass mat/cloth on the bottom. As stated, you could use the boat without that one side while working on it. May be tough to find a junked H23 where you could acquire a new panel, but try.

If you really want to get creative, you could possibly use the old (patched) panel to make a negative mold, then gel coat and lay in cloth to manufacture a new one - not anything I'd want to tackle... I'd probably just patch the broken one, sand down the outside and use some sort of epoxy paint to make it appear even. That's how I did my rudder.
