Hi Gang, my first post as we are just now looking at purchasing what I think (hope) is our dream boat but have a question before we go further. The boat in question is an older Beneteau First 42. She has hydraulic steering which is something new to us. Can anyone comment on strengths/ weaknesses of such as system? Anything specific we should be looking or testing for when we are on the sea trial?
