Hello Robert;

my Vega "Viking" weathered the storm okay. We only had a
storm surge of about 4 feet. All's okay..

Take care; Wilhelm, V-257

Hello Steve; Robert.

Thanks for your thoughts- we're glad these two hurricanes
(Rita and Katrine) are history. It was Rita that came a bit
too close; I was, however, prepared. The marina where my
Vega is located was flooded. But because being between
islands there was little wave action. That saved us all.
I had some damage to my house, but I can fix it myself.
Though this is quite a year with disasters: and we got two
more months to go! Let's hope the best. And by the way-
today was a great sailing day.

Kind regards... Wilhelm, V-257

I think we have to say a pray to the storm gods to stay away..i'm in the process of doing the bottom and will go back in on Wed. Next time I think will require to strip all bottom paint and apply some sealer. Wilhelm, I bought the spinnaker from Ed Sayer and now have to get back into the goove. Perhaps within the next month or two if your avalable I'll swing down and you can teach me the ropes..bad pun.

In the meantime stay safe and dry

Best regards

Bob
