Why?

All of these sites are wonderful, but very limited. I doubt that many H'25, 27, 33, 36 & 37 owners will visit a site like this. So why does anyone want to start a H'30 site? Cherubini! Maybe!!

I started a H 28.5 group/site

I did this for my much loved H 28.5 for a allot of reasons. Mostly to yak with people that had the same boat, and to get answers for problems that were for the 28.5. Not much help getting an answer for a problem from a guy with a H 31 and he is quessing on what my answer would be or is telling me where his thing-a-bob is on his boat, just did not help me. We have 98 memebers now and we have had many of problems solved and getting the anwser from a guy who is looking at the same thing as I am has been great. It has turned out to be another great resource for us. Though I have moved on to a J 29 I have allot of friends in the group and we share all stuff related to the H 28.5, if only I could convince them to all buy J 29's it would be even better. How did you get the members

I was the one that set up the H30 forum for exactly that reason. How did you get the members for the forum? Just use search engines?

The H 28.5 Group

I asked Phil if I could post on the HOW site every so often about my group. But I would say most found it on looking on Yahoo groups. It is a email link so when a question is asked it goes out to all those in the group that are getting the emails. It has been very helpful for us talking all things 28.5. I would ask Phil if it is ok to seek out memeber's. Like sending out emails to all that have ther email address in the H 30 forums. Cliff

Too Catagorized

The aim was to get it very catagorized. It is to try an encourage people to look through topics before posting repeated questions. Currently I find existing boards are too general, and I wanted this one to be very specific.

Great Idea!

I joined so that I could get specific information on my boat from people that own them. I still subscribe to HOW and enloy the information I get but sometimes it's too general and would like information that pertains to my boat. and unlike Sailjazz this one doesn't charge!!!

Hey O2Addict

I joined your forum because I also wanted specialized information regarding my Hunter 30. I am having trouble posting a topic or replying to your topics. Granted that I am a newbie to bulletin boards, can I get some help?
