Hunter Vision 36 boom mounted sail cover

As a new owner of this 1993 Vision 36, I cannot figure out the rigging to make the boom mounted sailcover work properly. It is attached to the lazyjacks. How does it drop out of the way of the mainsail while sailing?

It does not. The line can be adjusted at the cleat on the bottom of the boom.
