I recently purchased a 1990 Hunter Vision 32 and I am trying to determine if and how the cabin table converts to a berth. It is a table that folds in half. I can loosen knobs on the stand to rotate the table but can't seem to lower it. Even if I was able to lower it, I'm not sure how the starboard side of the table could support any weight. It has legs that unfold when at table height.

From what I recall, the table definitely does go down, although mine had a different pedestal. I'm not sure if you can use it unfolded; I never tried. Maybe someone else can weigh in to help. (Mine was a 1990.) BTW, great boat. Had it for nine years. Would buy another in a heartbeat.
Our 30 looks like an identical table support. Loosen the knob and press down really hard directly over the support, then tighten the knob while it's down.
I had to lube ours a bit. I think they are intended to be really stiff.
