Hunter throttle and shift cables

I have a 1978 Hunter 30 ft. that I have to replace the shift and throttle cables. I am not sure if the cables I removed are original. It has a Yanmar SB-8 engine and transmission.
The shift cable I removed was 6ft. in length which seems a little short and the throttle cable is 11ft. in length which seems long.
I have not been able to find any info on the proper lengths.

I changed cables on my legend 37.5. I used a teleflex morse cable for both. They are easy to google and order.

if asked what style cable, it is a 3300 series. Not sure of lengths though.
