Hunter 260 Lake Carlyle, Illinois
Some time ago (a year to year and a half) I came across, on the internet, a sailing club that specialized in (as I recall) Hunter 260's and perhaps 26's and sailed in the Pacific Northwest region - Puget Sound, Seattle, San Juan Islands area. I recently tried to find this group and am having no success.

Does anyone on the forum know what group I'm talking about? If so -

Thanks,

Do not know of a current group with that speciality, but have a contact you might work through....

Over the last several years, a group of H26/260's got together under the auspices of the Hunter Sailing Association of Oregon (HSAO) and trailered to points north each year. At the time, with our H26, we were quite active in participating, sometimes club sanctioned, somethimes just ad-hoc getting together for Puget Sound, San Juans, Gulf Islands, Desolation Sound, etc. We were even joined once by a non-member H260 from Eastern Washington.

Many of the owners have moved on to bigger boats (including us) and so I don't know how active this sub-group of HSAO may be today. I have also put my H340 in Puget Sound, so am no longer active in the club, but you might contact them through their website, just search on HSAO.
