First, thanks to those who responded to my "kayak" information request. Turns out plans changed and we won't need them.
I'm posting now to find out if anyone's heard anything in the past few years about any Hunter Rendevous (sp??) in the LI, CT, RI, MA area. There used to be a Rendevous every couple of years somewhere in the region which was always a blast! I think the last one was about 6-7 years ago in Mystic, CT hosted at Mystic Shipyard. I think about 30-40 boats attended for 3 days with lots of great information forums and socializing, fun races (I think Hunter provided a small fleet of the 17 footers to use) and usually a great speaker at the dinner. It was always interesting to meet other owners in person - often people who you knew for a long time through the forums but never actually met!
Have I been out of touch or are they a thing of the past?
