It is my understanding that between 1983 and 1987 Hunter sold 33's, 36's and 37's as "owner completion kits. The hulls were the same Cherubini designs, but not necessarily the rest. In that case, if this is off topic, I appologise. I am curious to know how their resale value has held up compared to the straight production models, and also if there is a problem with insuring a Quest model. I'm considering making an offer on an '83 33. It's interior layout is quite different, but the materials used are at least as good at the production model, the joinery is good, and the electrical wiring, panels, etc. look better.Any first-hand knowledge is greatly appreciated.
