Hunter Passage 420 Salon Table

Our salon table is so big that a person can barely fit between the table edge and the settee backs.
Has anyone ever cut the table top down to make it smaller or replaced with a smaller table top?
I know I'm not skinny, but the space is rediculously small.

These tables are not wood so if you cut it you will have an unfinished end. I made a new top from solid wood. Cherry in my case but pic your own wood and find a friend that does wood working.

Did you find the original table too big for the space?
I made a smaller table for our Hunter Vision 36 that we had. Made a big difference.

It was just a tad large so I made the new one a little smaller.

Our prior owner took out the table and replaced it with a convertible coffee table desk. Works great and plenty of extra storage
