Hello everyone! Latest update on my HP42 dripless shaft seal installed. Wasn't easy but it's doable. I did it myself, because yard asked for about $800 just for labor. So, here are the pictures. Engine compartment is very tight to do anything, so be prepared to struggle. Most important information is the size of stern tube and its 2.5 inches OD. Look for part number on picture. Hope these help to other HP42 owners who wants to install dripless shaft seal. All the best, stay safe and healthy.

As suggested by another HP42 owner, I'll run that 3/8" hose up to generator shelf high and end it with small on/off valve.
