Hunter Marine: Debtor in possession

Since I've had multiple issues after delivery, there's been a lot of communication between me and hunter marine corp to get it all straightened out.

Has anyone else noticed that all of their email signatures are signed "debtor in possession"?

Got something to do with bankruptcy and being able to keep assets.

A debtor in possession in United States bankruptcy law is a person or corporation who has filed a bankruptcy petition, but remains in possession of property upon which a creditor has a lien or similar security interest.[1] A corporation which continues to operate its business under Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings is a debtor in possession

This is going to be interesting, as I'm supposed to take delivery soon. By the way, the delivery of my boat is now scheduled for July 10th.....this is 3 days after the final day anyone can put a bid on Hunter and the rest.

I think the key thing to keep in mind

A corporation which continues to operate its business under Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings is a debtor in possession

Even after the bids close, I imagine it will take a while for anything to happen
