I asked this question a while back, but thought I'd try again. Does anyone have any experience with the Hunter Liberty dinghy? Towing? Rowing? Motoring? Sailing? From the little I've been able to learn from the Hunter web site, it seems like a very nice yacht tender. Thanks, Gary

Too big?

Is that the new self-bailing, unsinkable, cat-rigged sailing dinghy from Hunter? Isn't your boat too small for that kind of dinghy? I think my H37C is(too small). Don't know what I could do with it if conditions were too bad for towing. My marina owner says they are a blast to sail and motor well. But I personally would not consider a tender that can't easily be brought onboard.

Currently Using a 10' Boatex

Good point about the size, but I currently use a 10' Boatex and hang it from Davits most of the time. Most of my sailing is in Pamlico Sound, and while conditions can get tough there, I don't think they'll get bad enough that I would be unable to tow a dinghy. Thanks for your thoughts. Gary
