Im looking at installing a new prop on my 1987 Hunter Legend 45. Its powered by the standard issue Yanmar 4JH-TE 55hp. Can any Legend 45 owner tell me what dia and pitch propeller is on their boat?

Every prop company has a calculator on their site to determine what prop is correct for what boat engine, hp, gear reduction, shaft size and taper, prop rotation. But you can use this guide to help you find the proper prop approximate configuration to use with your Yanmar® Diesel Engine. As with any parts specification, consult with a qualified dealer to confirm the specification for your specific application.

Hello All. The sea trial with the 17x10- 3 blade went well. great boat speed(8.5 knots) at 2200 rpm! Lots of room for more RPM if needed. Now I have a 3 blade Flex-O-Fold prop to sell if any one wants it?? 18x14 -3 blade-1 1/4 shaft standard taper. $800.00 Canadian.
