Hunter Legend 40 hull to keel interface

Need knowledge of how to solve [or live with] a clearly defining crack between hull and keel. Hunter reports this is common and seal it with epoxy or 3M 5500. Any experiences/advice, please?

Malcom: This is not uncommon. Check you the archives on the subject. Seems like this is a problem on ALL boats at some point in their life. Caulking, faring compound and you are back in business. You also want to check your keel bolts when you are making the repair.

I would follow Hunter's advice. This condition is prevalent on most brands of boats that do not have encapsulated exterior mounted keels.
