Hi all apologies if this has been asked before I did do a search but could not find anything that answered my question. I am searching the second-hand market here in the UK for a asymmetrical spinnaker / cruising chute. Can someone confirm the range in Luff / Leach and foot length? I am working on minimum luff 36ft /11meters and maximum luff 41ft / 12.5 meters? and leach should be around 10% less than luff? IS this about right? Thanks for any help Jason

Go to any sailmaker website that sells asymmetrical spinnakers. There will be a measurement and size recommendation instructional that you can use as reference in your second hand market search. The luff is more important, imho, because if it's too long you will eliminate your reaching trim options.... but... discussing the sail, asking questions and doing general research, as you are doing now, is the best way to determine the right size and shape for your boat and your sailing style. Asymmetricals have blossomed into a myriad of options the last 20 years, there
is a lot to learn. Good luck... have fun.
