PEGGY, My Hunter Legend 35 surrived Ivan - but is due for yard work shortly. I had to remove the vanity shelves, sink and table top etc. Just about stripped the compartment bare except for the commode to affect some of the repairs. The commode itself is only 11 inches high, too small for us bigAs_ guys and I would like to replace it. Are you aware of any Hunter people that have re-designed the head layout ? The original Hunter Legend 1988 design and the 11 inch commode is just to small and tight for us. Any ideas on how I might put the head back together again during the yard period in a new arrangement ? Oh yes, the only workable (logical) place on the HL 35 to put the AC unit is on the shelf under the head vanity table. This also need be taken into consideration. RD

I suggest you get with a local carpenter to discuss how best to "rearrange the furniture" in the head compartment. I can tell you, though, that except for "compact" toilet models, most toilets offer a choice of the small "standard" size bowl or the larger--and higher--"household" size. Check the dimensions on the mfr's websites to make sure they'll fit.
