Hunter Factory Davits

Has anyone added the hunter factory davits to theirnew hunter.I saw them on a 41 and was wondering if hunter makes themfor the new 36.Were they worth the money compared to other add on davitsand how did you like them..I thought they looked good on this new 41 at my dealerand looked like maybe they would be good on my 36Nick

Seadaddler, I could not get them for the H356

I asked and was told the arch was not able to handle them. Seems I remember they were only making them for the H41 and above. But this could have changed since then. I have Ocean Marine davits on mine, which I like. I'm not sure if they changed the arch between the H356 and H36.JimS/V Java

Nick, I ordered and installed them as an after delivery item on my 38. It is my understanding that that they are designed as a universal fit for the 40 series arch and this arch is also standard on the 36 and 38. They were shipped to me at the boat and I was able to install them with an assist from a dock neighbor. I currently use a 10 foot walker bay but could hang a 10 foot inflatable just as well. As I back in to the slip the dink gets in the way for stepping on and off the stern so I only hang the dink when cruising. In that the davits do what they were designed for, I am satisfied.Steve Kamp, on the Neuse River,Hunter 38 Carolina
