Hunter chat?

I have started an irc room through microsoft chat called #sailing for anybody that wants to check it out. As we are hunter owners and so are my acquaintances who know about it,it would primarilly be "Hunter people". I didnt see anything in the guidelines that lead me to believe posting this would be a bad idea. Sorry if Im wrong. as this is new, you may not see people in there (like any new room) but please try back often. Doug

Hi Doug,I think you will have to be more specific. I'm fairly computer literate but wouldn't have a clue how to check out your "chat room".Maybe we could have a similar thing on the HOW site Phil?

Some more info...as requested

All that need be done is go to microsoft home and download the program called "microsoft chat". This is a program that you will need to run after logging on with your modem.When you start the program while connected you will see a window and need to type in the boxes as below:In the box that reads "server" type the following: irc.scscorp.netIn the box that reads "go to chat room" type the following: #sailing (remember the # key)That will put you into the room. At first you may only see your name in the guests box. But keep trying...it will snowball after awhile. You can keep it open while you are online to see if someone else comes in.Happy sailing and surfing.Doug
