I'm looking at Hunter 30's 89-94 and have two questions: 1) I find references to Hunter 30Ts and 30Gs. Can somebody tell me what the difference is. 2) Can anyone tell me what the standard (factory) headsail configuration is and if that is adequate? Thanks

You'll find a lot in the archives about this...search under the above title. The main difference is that the "T" (beginning in 1991), cabin trunk is extended forward, so there is more head room in the forward V birth cabin. The T also has a nicer interior package---more wood in the head. Square sinks instead of round. Great table that lifts and swings away. Dual cabin top winches. Larger and relocated holding tank. All this being said, as the proud owner of a 1990 "G," I think the change completely ruined the lines of the boat.... The sail plans are the same. The backstay on the T is about four inches further aft. By the way, the "G" and "T" designations are changes in the hull numbers. Some say the T stands for Trunk, or Tall, but I have never found any evidence to show this is true.
