I have a 2011 Hunter 50 AC that we purchased new and the deck light has stopped working. I am assuming it is the bulb but looking for feedback before I head up. I see on the site for Hunter parts that they offer a replacement that is LED and is states replace like replacing the bulb. Anyone familiar with this?
While on the subject of lighting I am also considering replacing the anchor light bulb with a LED that is a dusk to dawn, again anyone familiar with this?
Thank you in advance.
Keith.

Yes, replace the bulb with the LED from the store. It worked for us.

Is it a direct replacement that just attaches from the front? Is it brighter than the original? What holds it in, 2 Phillips screws?
Thank you.

I just replaced mine. I just bought some on Amazon as I didn’t see them here (par36 landscape lights) Mine was held in place by two flexible snaps. As in the bulb is just pressed in and the clips hold it in place.

WAs it a direct replacement? How does it compare to the OE when it comes to brightness?

Yes, it was 100% plug and play. It’s quite a bit brighter. And I’d say whiter than the old one which was kind of “warm white”?

I threw out the old one, but I believe the back was labeled GE 4406 tractor bulb.

Same here. The install is pretty simple. You need to bring a screwdriver up with you to remove and reattach the wire leads that power the light. Other than that, it just clips into place.

Send the HunterOwners guys a message if you don't see the light available in the store. My guess is that they're all the same and that they have plenty on hand.

Thank you all for the info, ordered through the Hunter store and is on the way. Needed to know how to replace as my wife will be going up the mast and just want to make sure she is prepared to what needs to be done.
