Has anyone put one in the 49 after it left the factory. Would like to buy one bit can't see how I would get it to there recommended location in the starboard aft cabin

Well I don't believe a washer can fit through the door in the starboard aft bedroom. My guess would be they put these in before the deck goes down in the factory. I wold like to get a washer like the splinde. I am thinking I will have to take it apart to get it back though the door. I know it will fit into the compaanion way door. The doors in the boat I believe are 18 inches the washer is 20 I believe. Just wondering if I am mossing something. As if one broke it would surely need to be taken out as well.

I never really thought about having to remove the unit but your right. It's not going without a fight.
You might try contacting Splendide directly since this is an RV unit they must have some ideas on difficult installations.

I have contacted Hunter several times on the issue and they will not return my calls. They said when I bought the boat it could be added later and now I'm not so sure. I'm contemplating tearing the machine apart once i get it and rebuilding it in the stateroom. I have four boys hence the boat name and laundry would be a savior to my wife. We have the fisherpanda 12kw and a cruise RO water maker now we just need washer/dryer. I take it you have one on your hunter 49. do you like it?
Was it the dealer or Hunter that said it could be added later. I would check with the dealer as well.
