Hunter 49 &50 Yanmar impeller change

If anyone with a 49 or 50 AC has needed to change their water pump impeller, you will be interested to know that I figured out the solution.
I have engineered a modification which will allow you to change the impeller in about 15 minutes, including removing the stairs.
Once my boat is launched in the spring I will be finalising this, and I'll post a write up with photos.

Ok Art tease me why don't ya. I changed mine last spring and to do it I ended up up removing the altinator Looking forward to your fix

Here's the thing.
I just have to fully test it out, and that will be soon. I've spent a ton of time on this, and for a good reason.
I had surgery on my chest, and lying front face over an engine is virtually impossible for me.
So, this has been a serious concern that I needed to address.
As soon as I'm launched, I'll run document & post. Promise

I've had to change the pump out on mine. The alternator as well the motor mount needed to be removed to get the old pump out and the new one in. Access to the pump is difficult at best and would hate to have to change the impeller while underway. Looking forward to your post Art.
