Has anyone installed an anchor wash down on a Hunter 42 Passage? Looking for tips and ideas.
Thanks!
Thanks!
If the anchor comes up so muddy that it needs a wash down I usually leave it skimming the water surface for a bit while getting underway. It's a CQR-type, however, so the water streams well over the plough. The teak decks on the Bavaria get a bucket-seawater rinse nearly every morning when at anchor; so, no mud hangs around for long anywhere on deck. Thanks guys all good ideas, but I think I'll put this project on the back burning and keep using the old bucket method for this season. Plenty of other projects on the list.
Happy Sailing!
Like most of my projects, I tend to do a fairly advanced install.Has anyone installed an anchor wash down on a Hunter 42 Passage? Looking for tips and ideas.
