Hi Guys,

could anybody tell me when the 420 was first built and did it superceede the 42, and did all the 420's have the pullman berth layout?

Hi Barny,

Although the "Boat Info" tab on this site lists the years produced as 1998-2003, some owners have 2004 model H-420s, which may have been made in 2003. Also, some 1999 model H-420 were actually produced during 1998.
H-420s did supersede H-42s.
As far as I know all 420s have the same forward cabin layout.

yes, correct, but the earlier 42's ( 1990>1997?) were different- they all had an island double in the forward peak with the head to the right as you entered the forward cabin.

i was trying to post a copy of the 420 owners manual , but it must be too big- wouldnt let me.
