For owners of the H41DS (and its very similar sister, the H41AC model), you should be pleased to know it won in 2 categories of Cruising World's Boat of the Year contest, results just announced. It won in ”Production Cruiser 40 to 44 Feet” and “Best Value.” Click on link for announcement on CW's site.

a good week for Hunter

In addition to the 41DS winning BOTY awards in 2 categories, the Dec. issue of Blue Water Sailing has a lengthy review of the new 45CC. Very positive comments about the boat including its blue water capability.

Hunter Reviews, Make up you're mind!!

How about that magazine giving the H45 a good reveiw? Wasn't that the same folks who just last month told the world that the Hunter line was only fit for coastal cruising. I'm constantly amazed at the elitism of people, who seem to think, that if you don't own a certain line of boats that you're certain to break up and drown if you take a Hunter offshore. I wish they'd take one side or the other. Either Hunter makes a line of barely floatable boats, or they make a line of very capable boats that are price pointed at a neighborhood that opens up this lifestyle to a lot more people, (including firefighters). Bravo to the folks from Hunter who keep designing and building solid, beautiful boats for the rest of us.

Hunter 41DS

We just finished our first season with our 41DS. Great boat. Have totally enjoyed every facet of it. Worst part of owning it is having it on the hard until spring.
