Hunter 40, need photo of outhaul shackles.

Hi Hunter 40 owners,
I have misplaced the shackles that connect the Main Sail to the out-haul car on the boom. Could someone who has a 1986 or so 40 possibly take a photo of your out haul car and shackles connecting the sail next time your on your boat and e-mail it to me as I need new ones but can't remember what they look like ? I would be ever so grateful.

Hi Tom,

I'm not at my boat right now ('85 H40) and I won't be able to get a picture up until tomorrow.

Since we're a year older it may be different but we've got an Isomat boom and mast. The outhaul car has upward facing jaws to receive the sail clew and a large clevis pin secures the whole thing. There's no shackle per se.

I hope this helps and I'll get you a pic unless someone beats me to it.
