Recently bought a 1993 40.5 w/CNG. I live in Texas near Ft Worth and am unable to find a way to refill the CNG tanks. I'm starting to think a propane conversion is in my future! I know the propane tank locker needs to be sealed and vented over board. Is there a drop in tank locker system out there? I really don't want to hang tanks on the rails.
Thanks for any help,
Smoken

Thanks Steve, I've been to that station but had no way to connnect to my tanks. It never entered my mind to build a manafold that would hook to their q d pump and my screw on tank.

Before you build a manifold or adapter make sure that stations in your area will allow the filling of portable tanks. They generally frown on it for liability purposes. It is legal to fill a CNG tank at home if you have fuel service. Check the Phill Home CNG Fuel Station. I don't know how much it costs but would doubt it would make economic sense to install one just to fill your boat tanks. To answer your other question yes there are drop tank locker units in the market. Trident and Seaward are two manufacturers.
