A friend recently purchased a 1994 Hunter Legend 40.5 and has a question regarding the electrical panel located in the starboard aft locker. Because the two air conditioners were stolen while the boat sat in a boatyard (the owner died and the boat was tied up in an estate), two new units were installed this past week. But there is a problem......Despite two separate power cords, only one unit can be run at one time. If both are turned on the reset button on the panel shown in this post trips. Does anyone know what the intent of the panel is, especially how it is related to air conditioners? Why have a breaker/reset here when there are two on the master panel?
