Has anyone with a Hunter 40.5 had to replace or access the Edson steering system from the top side (through the pedestal?) to servie the steering shaft and bearings and replace the brake? The instruction in the Edson manual all address removing the compass and then its easy access to the shaft and all the components. For the Hunter 40.5 how do you access the upper mechanism?
