I am interested in a 39 that is a ways away from my home location. I haven't been aboard one yet and before taking the time and incurring the expense of looking at the boat I was hoping that a current owner might be able to give me a sense, or even a measurement, of the length of the cockpit settees just forward of the helm. Can you comfortably lie down on them and how tall are you? This is important information to assess the "napping factor" of the model lol. Thanks Much.

:dancing: :dancing: I can tell you “the napping factor” is perfect on my 340. I‘m 6 feet and take some great, if not the best ever naps aboard our boat. So I would think, on a 39 you would have no problems what so ever. The settee’s are wide as well. You will need good cushions though. Enjoy.

Those two boats are not comparable at all in terms of cockpit settees. The 340 has a single centered helm station and the 39 has two helm stations. I cannot definitively give you the measurement on a 39, but I'll say this: My 36 with the single centered helm station had very long cockpit settees that you could stretch out on and sleep. I did so on many occasions. But my Hunter 40, with twin helm stations is MUCH shorter in terms of cockpit settees. I'm 5'6" tall and cannot stretch out on my 40 in the cockpit settees. The twin helm stations are what force them to be significantly shorter. I would bet the 39 settees are roughly the same as my 40, given both have twin helms.
