Hunter 386 Salon Table

I recently purchased a 2002 Hunter 386. Can the salon table be converted into a bed. The table top looks like it can be dropped down but there is nothing in the owners manual that describes converting the table into a bed.

Quite the elaborate process when compared to my '99 H-310. From the date on the drawing :

..................... I see that both our boats are newer. Your 2002 model may have a counterweight within the compression post as does my 1999 model. If so, the release mechanism is under the table and the table moves ⇵ with an assist from the counter weight. All you need next is the cushion with the cutout for the compression post and it's off the the land of nod.
