What is the experience of other Hunter 376 owners of the keel screws endurance?
What kind of inspection is requierd to decide the replacement of the screws?
How screws are replaced.
How is the keel construction?

Note: My boat is sholow draft (5 feet).

Thanks for your support.

I don't think that you need to think about them unless you have had damage such as a very hard grounding or some extraordinary event.

This is the diagram for what's supposed to be your keel. It's in the H376 document folder on the Marlow-Hunter site, although for some reason the file is entitled H37 and the diagram says H370. I'm guessing if it's not exactly what you have, it's close. Anyway, your keel bolts should last forever as long as you keep your bilge dry and maintain the integrity of the keel to hull joint. The problems come from allowing water to seep into the area between the keel stub and the top of the keel, because the bolts can experience rapid crevice corrosion. If the bolts ever were to need replacing, the only way to do that is to remove the keel and ship it back to Mars Keel so they can melt them out of the lead and melt in new ones. If it helps, there's never been a case that I'm aware of of a Hunter having its keel fall off. :)
