Hi, I have a Hunter 375 and he gas strut that supports one of the ice box lids has leaked its gas out and no longer holds the lid up. Has anyone had to replace their gas strut? I would appreciate any advice as to where you purchased yours. THANKS!!!

I just removed mine and haven't missed it. It created more usable room inside and the lid is open for shorter periods (less browsing). I use a bungee to hold it open when it is turned off or I am doing some major cleaning.

Mark, the gas lifters on our boat still work...
I've had to replace the ones on our Vanagon. Take your old one to Pep Boys and get a matching replacement. They have several to choose from, one of which should do the job for you. Terry
