Hunter 37 Teak Cockpit sole

We need to replace the teak board that sits behind the binnacle on our 1987 Hunter 37. It is 25 wide by 14 high by 1inch thick. Since we're not too handy with wood we are looking for a piece of teak to cut to size, rahter than piece a 5 inch board which is what it look like it is. Any ideas for us on where I can get teak that size...OR anyone know a marinre scrap shop that I might be able to find a replacement? Thanks

On our last boat, a 1987 37 Legend, I took the teak board that you mention to a local plastic shop that fabricates starboard and had them make one from white starboard. I think that it cost about $50 at the time. I replaced all of the teak, with starboard and had more time to sail and less maintenance time. Bill
