Hunter 37.5 (1990)-Garmin Linear Drive Autopilot Installation Assistance

I am in the process of replacing all of my original Raymarine instruments including the ST60 (wheel autopilot). I have gone with Garmin including a Garmin Linear Drive Autopilot.

I am requesting information especially pictures of any installs which may have been done. Any 37.5 owner will know exactly what my concerns are given the cramped space and the narrow space between the quadrant and the deck plate above...

I have sometime before the ice melts here ..... but am looking to get my head around the project so I can start measuring and planning.

Don,
I have a Legend 37. Did you ever install the linear drive autopilot in your vessel? If so.. where and how did you attach both ends. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
