I’m getting ready to install a Garmin 18” Radar Dome on the mast just above my first set of spreaders approx 15’ off the deck. I’m looking for advice on how to get the wires into and down the mast. Not 100% sure about the structure or layout of the mast except for the fact I need to keep the wires on the forward side of the mast away from the roller furl compartment.

Yes

You are right about the front sides of the mast hold all the wires.
If I was you I would call Selden Mast for help on running the cablle in the mast.
Any time that I have called them for advice they always have been very helpful.

the Selden extrusion has a separate compartment in the forward edge for cabling-carefully drill the entry and exit holes-if they're not already there, then use a weighted line or sash chain to drop a line trought the mast. you can then use this line to pull the radar cables through. be very careful when mounting the radar mount-the screws should not protrude into the aft setion of the mast where the sail rolls

Harry, there are manuals on the SeldenMast website on running cables and retrofitting radar cables. About a 3rd of the way down is C & F Sections on running cables and just below that is radar cable.

Very Careful

Like I said call Selden, they were very helpful when I called years ago when
adding radar and wind machine on my 290 Hunter.
I also called them recently before I did some drilling into my 36 Hunter and they were very helpful.
I told them what boat and model I had and why I was drilling into the mast,
I was adding a spinnaker bail hook and they told me where my radar cable
and other cables would be and other suggestions.
I new pretty much where things were but wanted to double check before drilling into the mast, you need to be careful when drilling not to hit other cables.
You can look down on the bottom of the mast and see which side cables are, starboard is where most cables are and radar was port but check and see, your port side should be empty and makes easy drilling.
I did my 290 Hunter myself and did take the mast down when adding ST60 wind and radar,it was so much easier than climbing up the mast doing the drilling for the radar mounting and the drilling for the radar cable.
Are you climbing up the mast to do the install.
