Hunter 36 Mast Rake

In September I purchased a 2005 Hunter 36 which I plan on using for cruising in the Pacific NW. There is a 2004 H36 a few slips down and I noticed that his mast is almost perfectly vertical with no noticeable rake. On mine; however, there is a noticeable amount of rake. Question: with a swept spreader rig, how much rake is right? Where might I read up on how to adjust such a rig without risking damage? Thanks!

the manual does say I think 1 '' rake
but out cruising and can send copy
on setting up the rigging and do you have inmast

Check the Selden website for the Tuning Manual publication 595-540-E for the rake formula based on hast height. If you can't find it send me a private message and I will email a PDF copy.

Thanks. Definitely more than 1" of rake. It's a Selden in-mast furling main. I"ll check the website.
